SHIIP Volunteers Can Help Seniors with Changing Medicare Drug Plans

Have questions about the Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans?  Aren’t sure you signed up for the best plan for you last year and want to find out what else is available?  Just need to change plans?

The Senior Health Insurance Information Program in Durham has volunteers trained to assist people with Medicare.  Beginning November 15, 2006, the Durham SHIIP volunteers will be available BY APPOINTMENT, to assist senior citizens or anyone with Medicare in changing their Medicare Prescription Drug Plans.

For an appointment, contact

Lynne Chamblee, SHIIP Coordinator at the
Council for Senior Citizens, (919) 688-8247;
or contact Deborah McGiffen,
SHIIP Coordinator at Durham Cooperative Extension Services, at (919) 560-0521.
