Caregivers
What is the Family Caregiver Support Program?
A program for caregivers that provides for the public and individuals:

INFORMATION on services and resources for caregivers.

ASSISTANCE WITH
ACCESS by helping caregivers in obtaining services or resources available in the community.

CAREGIVER COUNSELING, SUPPORT GROUPS AND TRAINING that provide counseling to caregivers to assist them in making decisions and solving problems relating to their caregiver roles. This includes counseling to individuals, support groups and caregiver training of individual caregivers & families.
- RESPITE CARE services which provide temporary, substitute supports in order to offer a brief period of rest for caregivers. This includes in-home respite or attendance at a daycare program.
The Caregiver Respite Service (A Gift of Time) is a collaboration of: Council for Senior Citizens and A Helping Hand.
